Man injured, charged after breaking into Gloversville apartment: police
GLOVERSVILLE A Kent Street man was stabbed and injured slightly after he allegedly broke into a city residence and tried to assault the occupant, Gloversville police said.
Michael Anderson, 22, of 25 Kent St., was later charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor assault.
Police said Anderson forced entry into the upstairs apartment of 33 West Pine St., allegedly to assault the occupant. During an altercation, the occupant cut Anderson on the head and torso with a pocket knife. Anderson was treated and released from Nathan Littauer Hospital.
He was arraigned and sent to Fulton County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
