Broadalbin Holiday Parade set tonight

— Gearing up for their Holiday Parade tonight, village officials announced the temporary closure of North Main Street.

Starting at 3 p.m. today, North Main will be closed from the intersection of West Main and Bridge Streets to School Street.

Parking on the street is prohibited for the length of the parade .

Caroling starts at 5 p.m. with a tree-lighting ceremony in Kenside Park at 6:15. The parade itself starts at the high school at 6:30.

The festivities should last four or five hours. Normal traffic will resume later in the evening.
