Better think twice before illegally parking in a handicap space on Black Friday. Albany County law enforcement agencies will be keeping a keen eye on area parking lots to ensure able-bodied shoppers aren't using handicap spaces at malls and shopping plazas. The Handicap Parking Laws need to be enforced all year round in all Cities/Towns/Villages and communities. Those spaces are there for those who need it. If you can (truly and without faking it) walk 100ft without stopping then please leave leave the handicapped parking spaces for those who are truly disabled such as those in wheelchairs and the elderly with canes or walkers. It is not fare to those who need it when you abuse the privilege.
