SCHENECTADY The city will hold its monthly open house today, starting with a news conference at noon in the Proctors Arcade.
Houses for sale will be open all day for visitors to view, with bankers available to help with pre-approval and other loan information.
Mayor Gary McCarthy and city schools Superintendent Laurence Spring will speak at Proctors. Also, Building Inspector Eric Shilling will explain how the city will sell houses it took through tax-foreclosure this fall and Mary D’Alessandro, a Prudential Manor Homes Realtor, will provide updates on the local real estate market.
