Suicide threat spurs police standoff in Queensbury

A man’s reported suicide attempt led to a six-hour police standoff Sunday. The man called the Warren County Sheriff’s Office shortly before 9 a.m. threatening to kill himself with a knife, according to Sgt. Richard Backus.
