Rams ousted in Class D semifinals
KINGSTON Nick Reisman scored his second touchdown of the game with 3:37 left to rally Tuckahoe over the Rensselaer, 14-12, Friday in the Class D semifinals at Dietz Stadium.
Reisman also scored on a six-yard run in the third quarter for Tuckahoe.
Tyler Stasack returned the opening kickoff 74 yards for a touchdown to give Rensselaer a 6-0 lead. Seth Butler scored on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter.

ITHACA — Niskayuna senior Kina Zhou set the fast time in two events in the preliminary round of the New York State Swimming and Diving Championships Friday at Ithaca College.
The Yale-bound Zhou placed first in the 100 free (51.14) and the 200 free (1:50.50). She went into both events with the best seed time.
Zhou also swam on two relays for the Silver Warriors. She teamed up with Grace Matuszyk, Anna Vitolins and Mikayla Frodey to finish second in the 200 free prelims in 1:37.38, and came back with Tasia Angelopoulos, Frodey and Matuszyk to finish third in the 400 free relay (3:34.79).
Shenendehowa freshman Julia Samson also had a strong performance in the preliminary round, finishing third in the 200 IM in 2:06.33.
Johnstown senior Meghan Bartlett, making her fourth appearance in the states, finished sixth in the girls’ diving, accumulating a score of 428.65 for 11 dives. MacKenzie Moss of Chenango Valley (Section IV) won the event with a score of 458.50.
Other Section II divers taking part were Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake sophomore Lauren Katz (15th, 379.10) and Elyse Piseczny of Mohonasen/Schalmont (17th, 372.45).
The swimming finals will be held today.
