Man accused of giving alcohol to minors in Waterford
WATERFORD — An Albany man was arrested Saturday night and charged with providing alcohol to minors, one of whom was treated at a hospital.
James Randall Kennedy, 24, of 478 West St. was accused of giving alcohol to a 14-year-old and 15-year-old on Fair Fax Row in Waterford.
Town police got a call about drunk teens at an address on that street, and when they arrived found that both teens had left in a vehicle with someone else. They were eventually found at a parking lot in Clifton Park.
The 15-year-old was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Kennedy, who police say was visiting the address when the incident occurred, was charged with two counts of unlawfully dealing with a child.
He was arraigned by Judge David Fusco in Waterford Town Court and released.
