Oh my! The July 1 Sunday Opinion section featured a piece by Karen Cookson that shows that fear-mongering is alive and well. Cookson’s opinion is just that. Good job Mr. Wege of putting things into perspective. Let's hope that that many people read and understand the simple facts of life. Unfortunately the extreme environmentalists are continually pounding away with their fear-mongering, so it will be a long unending battle to keep the real world facts in the public eye.
