Richard L. Bedell, 23, of 28 Lincoln Ave., was charged Wednesday with resisting arrest, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal mischief, all misdemeanors.
Officers received reports of someone going through vehicles on Brookside Avenue.
Officers conducted foot patrols, noticed Bedell, and attempted to box him in on upper Brookside Avenue.
Bedell ran down lower Brookside Avenue and was placed into custody after a brief pursuit and struggle.
