Long delays expected at busy Saratoga Springs intersection

SARATOGA SPRINGS — Saratoga Springs police advise motorists to avoid the intersection of Broadway and Circular Street because of congestion.
National Grid crews are repairing a natural gas line at the intersection, so motorists can expect long delays for the next several hours, police reported.

Can anyone tell me why Saratoga Springs doesn't have a left turn signal on Broadway at Church & Lake Ave.? It's one of the most congested intersections in Saratoga County!

Right! the left turn signals at that intersection are for traffic already on Lake or Church. Guess you have to be in the in-club to know you should make your left earlier, on Washington or Division (which don't have left turn signals either but are easier to negotiate) and then cut across.
