Nonprofits say Cuomo executive pay cap too low

Gov. Andrew Cuomo last week signed an executive order limiting to $199,000 the amount of state funds that nonprofit organizations can pay executives. The order, which goes into effect within 90 days, applies to organizations that provide services on behalf of the state of New York — something the vast majority of nonprofit organizations do.
