What is going on between the Schenectady County SPCA and the foundation that operates an animal shelter in Glenville? Such unseemly doings. The director of the shelter gets a couple of pit bull puppies dropped off to her, from the streets of Schenectady, she takes them to the city police station and leaves them there, asserting that the shelter is not able to care for them, and the SPCA demands that she be arrested. Tully needs to shut up. APF has been doing great work with many animals for more than 80 years. It would be great if they could take hundreds more animals but they are not set up for it.

Tully should take some of that money he sued the government for and build his own shelter, that is what a real leader commited to animals would do.

You hit the nail on the head, Carl. The SPCA should figure out a way to serve the animals and people of the county without making irrational demands and threats. I support the APF. Tully needs to get off his high horse and remember the SPCA just got here.

Another case of a person consigned to middle management roles in real life serendipitously acquiring an upper echelon position a thesaurus and time to interfere with processes which have worked excellently without him.

I wish him a safe deployment and return. I also wish he invest his energies elsewhere upon his return

This story is an APF smear with Carl as a puppet - READ THE LETTER ONLINE http://www.countyspca.org/APFOctober.pdf... it is far from what Strock claims!!!

WMARINCIC because the letter to me doesnt match up with the "takeover" angle that Carl implies - the letter seems to be "hey lets talk, you guys arent doing the right thing, you guys are messing with the SPCA and the SPCA isnt going to let you pick on us anymore without us punching back" the SPCA has $25k a year in donations while the APF has many full time people to kiss Carl's ass who make more than the entire SPCA budget - just saying...

GREAT that Tully is serving his country as a lawyer in some office in Afganistan. Still; sounds like the 'Big Shot' syndrom of wearing a uniform, badge and gun.
Stir up more bad press in Schenectady and then walk away!
