Smoke in lavatory forces flight to return to Albany

Authorities say a regional jet bound for Washington turned back to Albany International Airport this afternoon after smoke was reported in one of the restrooms. Airport spokesman Doug Myers said United Flight 3739 landed safely. The emergency was reported just after 3:30 p.m. There were no injuries among the 65 passengers and crew who were headed from Albany to Dulles International Airport.
