Police stop robbery at RPI frat house

Alert police officers thwarted a would-be robber Saturday afternoon at an RPI fraternity house. Officers Steven Barker and Marty Furciniti responded to a burglar alarm at the Phi Lambda Phi, 300 Pawling Ave. On the porch was Robert A. Fogarty, 42, holding an Xbox and controller he had allegedly stolen from the residence. Police said Fogarty had gained access by climbing through a window.
