Lucas Curtin and Dominic Caputo kept Schalmont unbeaten in the Colonial Council with 14 and 13 points, respectively, as the Sabres beat Mechanicville, 49-45, on Tuesday night. Schalmont (3-0 Colonial Council, 4-1 overall) trailed last year’s Class C state semifinalist, 26-13, at the half, but the Sabres outscored the Red Raiders, 21-8, in the third to pull even entering the final eight minutes.
