Scotia attorney charged with DWI in Waterford

A Scotia attorney faces DWI charges after he was stopped in the town of Waterford at about 1 a.m. Sunday, according to John Tanchak, public safety commissioner Lawrence J. Mahar, 60, of 44 Saratoga Drive was stopped by police, and after an investigation was transported to the Waterford Police Department for a breathalyzer test.
