Galway schools to reopen Monday

Galway schools are expected to be open again Monday, after classes were cancelled Friday due to illness. The district acted after a stomach virus-type illness spread among students, faculty and support personnel in recent days. All district buildings were closed Friday so maintenance staff could clean and disinfect throughout the buildings, in hope of stopping the illness from spreading.
