Amsterdam fire displaces two families

Two Amsterdam families were temporarily displaced today by an early morning attic fire. The Amsterdam Fire Department responded to a 911 call at 4:43 a.m. When they reached the two-family home at 209 West Main St., the flames were still contained to the attic space and all residents were out of the building.
