Schalmont fought back from a 10-point first-quarter deficit and defeated Albany Academy, 38-30, in a Colonial Council girls’ basketball game Tuesday night. Hailee Metzold registered 17 points for the Sabres, who improved to 2-0 in the Colonial Council and 4-0 overall. Nera Brajac’s 16 points carried Cohoes over Lansingburgh, 57-32.
