Schenectady firefighters are still on the scene of a fire on Rugby Road this morning. Occupants of a house at 1616 Rugby Road appeared to have safely exited the building, which suffered extensive damage to the back portion of the house, according to Gazette photographer Peter Barber, who is at the scene.
