— Police are investigating the report of an armed robbery Monday night at the Gulf mart at 1560 Central Ave.

Police say two men wearing masks entered the Mega Mart Gulf Gas Station at about 11 p.m. and demanded money from the clerk.

One suspect was armed with what appeared to be a shotgun, police said. The suspects were given less than $100 in cash from the register, police said, and fled on foot. They were last seen headed south on Lincoln Avenue.

The supects are described as:

• A black male in his late teens or early 20s, with a thin build, wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt and khaki-colored pants.

• A black male in his late teens or early 20s with a thin-to-medium build wearing a black jacket over a light-colored gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and brown shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 783-2744.
