High school hockey: Bullard nets three

Tyler Bullard scored three goals and set up Nick Winters for another, and Saratoga Springs beat Mam­aroneck, 6-0, to gain a two-game split at its 12th annual Don Kauth Memorial Tournament.

Bullard was selected the tourn­ament’s top offensive player.

Devin Coffey and Matt Klingbeil also had goals, and Dakota Smith made 11 saves as Saratoga bounced back after losing to St. Joseph’s of Buffalo in an overtime shootout Friday.

St. Joseph’s scored five unanswered goals and beat Shenendehowa, 5-2, to capture the tourn­ament title.

Kyle Marr gave Shenendehowa a 1-0 lead in the first period, and Brad Tardif tallied with 50 seconds left in the contest. Dimitrios Gogos had two of the five goals in between.

Jeff Bink notched three goals to lift Shaker/Colonie over Burnt Hills/Ballston Spa, 5-1, in a Cap­ital District High School Hockey League game.

Aaron Thorpe scored for BH/BS.
