Police say Warrensburg hunter fatally shot by son

Authorities say a Warrensburg man’s son fired the shot that killed him while he hunted with his two sons in the Adirondacks last weekend. The Warren County sheriff’s office said 53-year-old Terry Lavergne died from a bullet fired by his son, 23-year-old James Lavergne of Glens Falls.
