It's disappointing that the Gazette editorial board is so lacking in knowledge about the economics of Social Security and Medicare. Both unreformed will bankrupt the country. Read Robert Samuelson's op ed in yesterday's Washington Post and then decide if your editorial is based on knowledge or ignorance.

Actually, it is Obama's obamacare that strips medicare of funding while increasing taxes on everything which will further hurt the elderly. It is a Gazette editorial so I did not expect facts.

Gazette, what is your opinion on Obama's plan to reform Medicare and SS? Oh that's right.....he doesn't have one. Well....what's your opinion on the Senate's Budget proposal? Oh that's right....they didn't propose or pass a budget.
