<p>Paul Pratico’s ball-striking, mental game and lag putting were almost perfect in Friday’s final round of the Gazette Senior County Amateur Golf Championship.</p>
<p>But on the one occasion in which he really needed a break, good fortune stepped in.</p>
<p>Pratico’s ball bounced off Schenectady Municipal head pro Brian Damon’s cart, preventing it from entering the woods on the 14th hole, and Pratico ended up saving par en route to a bogey-free two-under-par 70 that lifted him to a comfortable 10-shot victory and his second straight title...
