<p>For the second year in a row, Spy in the Sky was the longest shot on the board for the Grade I A.P. Smithwick steeplechase stakes at Saratoga Race Course.</p>
<p>Instead of trailing in the back of the pack and leaving the course after the eighth fence, as he did in 2011, 25-1 Spy in the Sky burst to the lead coming off the final turn and held off Left Unsaid by the smallest of margins to win under Danielle Hodsdon.</p>..
