More than 150 drivers already ticketed in Operation Hang Up

BATTERY PARK CITY -- In the first twelve hours of Operation Hang Up, more than 150 drivers were ticketed for using hand-held devices, it was announced today by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo. One state trooper issued eight tickets in an hour while patrolling in the Kingston area. Why are they just targeting cellphones in their laws, why don't outlaw other things like smoking, consuming food or beverages, conversing with other passengers in the car. Another note, you can still use a CB, amateur, or business band 2 way radio.
