Student Gazette awards ceremony to be held today
SCHENECTADY — Students whose work will be included in the 2012 Student Gazette tabloid section will be honored at an awards ceremony today.
It will be held this afternoon in the Gazette newsroom on Maxon Road Extension. Many family members and teachers are expected to be on hand.
Gazette Managing Editor Judith S. Patrick will present certificates to the winners.
The Student Gazette, which will be available in the May 11 print editions of The Daily Gazette, will feature the work of local students from 3rd grade to 12th grade in writing, photography, comics and illustration, as selected by a panel of Gazette editors.
