Giants re-sign post-season standout Blackburn

The New York Giants have re-signed middle linebacker Chase Blackburn, a key to their run to last season’s Super Bowl title. Also a special teams leader, Blackburn was out of football last year until late November, when the Giants brought him back following injuries to other linebackers. It's about time. This guy was definitely a spark on the Giants road to the Superbowl last year. Hard-nosed player who will definitely be a leader on the defense. He certainly was deserving of being brought back. Hope they gave him a decent contract.
