— A motorcyclist died Sunday after crashing into three vehicles on Route 9 at the intersection with Watkins Plaza.

According to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, 19-year-old Sean C. Obernesser of Clifton Park was riding his 2006 Suzuki motorcycle north on Route 9 at about 11 a.m. when he hit a left-turning 1999 Mercuty Sable driven by Henry Kurland.

Obernesser's bike continued on to hit a 2005 Hyundai driven by Nancy Marrinter, and then hit a stopped 2009 Hyundai operated by Andrew Mayo.

Clifton Park-Halfmoon Ambulance brought Obernesser to Albany Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

No tickets have been issued but the accident is under investigation according to the sheriff's office.

People need to look twice before making a left turn. I know as I'm lucky to be alive after a person took a left turn into me.
