A city police sergeant who crashed his car twice and was charged with drunken driving Sunday in Bethlehem has been suspended without pay and faces termination, authorities said. Sgt. William Fennell was arrested late Sunday afternoon, accused of driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and refusing a breath test, Bethlehem Police said. Do you think it is possible that the stress of the shooting could be a reason for the drinking? I don't condone drinking and driving but McCarthy sure is in a hurry to fire Sgt. Fennel, actually that was even faster than Stratton.

I've lost a few friends to drunk drivers over the last 30 years... Because of this I believe that there should be no way for someone convicted of drunk driving to get their license back... Driving is a priviledge those who can't live by the rules shouldn't be allowed to drive... Hell Canada won't even let someone who had a DWI 30 years ago into the country. Good for them they have the right idea. Maybe if people started to lose things that were important to them they would stop doing stupid stuff.
