And there we have it, the "benefits" of we dare look at the damage left in the wake of this monstrous storm that hits 75 percent of the population?

The same is true of state tax on tobacco. The "official" word from the children in Albany is that the tax is necessary to get people to stop smoking. If that were true, why is tobacco the first place they look when they need more money? There is no one more addicted to nicotine than the NYS Legislature. God help them (and us) if people really stopped smoking.
