A Montgomery County grand jury returned indictments Thursday against five Amsterdam residents, three alleging drug sales, one welfare fraud and one with felony driving while intoxicated. Leo J. Gardner, 34, of Pulaski Street, Amsterdam was indicted on five counts each of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
