Burglary charge expected to be dropped in case of Saratoga County sheriff's official

Charges have been adjourned and are expected to be dismissed against a Saratoga County Sheriff's Department sergeant arrested last summer in an alleged break-in and domestic dispute. Brent Dupras, 41, was arrested in August after a woman called police to say an air conditioner had been removed from a second-floor window and Dupras has entered her Halfmoon home. Once again just to prove to the public that police are not prosecuted to the same extent as you and I. If the D.A. waned to he could use the testimony of the Arresting Officers and the Letter stating that she feels that he is sorry. Since when does a victim get to chose who gets prosecuted?
