All this can be diverted if the Governor would pay the taxes owed by the Hudson River Authority. We do not need any more Tax increase, program cuts or layoffs caused by our own States inadequacies. Our children deserve a proper education, just like he had as a child.

To everyone who wants administration reduced, I don't know how many assistant principals BP may have, but State Education Law requires districts to have a principal in every building. (Assistants are not necessary by law.)

No district will look at transportation, because there are big aid pay backs there.

Hudson River taxes will only help to a degree. Until the state gets back on its feet, (if ever) things are only going to get worse for schools.

One mandate that Gov Cuomo should look to eliminate: Principal in every bldg.
