Plan “A” was lost in the dirt being kicked up by Spa City Princess down the stretch.
Jockey David Cohen had to switch it up in the Saratoga Dew on Monday and guide Mineralogist out around Spa City Princess and Banker’s Buy. He then got her up for a photo-finish win by a head, her first victory since Oct. 24, 2009.
