The top two seeds were ousted in the afternoon, including points leader Frank Mellet of Colonie Golf & Country Club, and several matches went extra holes in the morning during the first day of the Northeastern New York PGA Match Play Championship Tuesday at The Sagamore Resort and Golf Club.
