Shen students’ inventions to be part of annual Winterfest

About 400 elementary- and middle-school students taking part in the Shenendehowa Inventors program will display their inventions at the former Cotton Market store at Clifton Park Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The Mechanicville City School District has secured $572,000 in grants that will be used to place photovoltaic panels on the high school and middle school later this year, according to School Superintendent Michael McCarthy.
