About 150 farmers turned out Tuesday to object to plans to close the county Farm Service Agency office in Ballston Spa and move its functions to Washington County.
More than 40 short films from around the world will be shown at the Ballston Spa Film Festival this Friday and Saturday. The third annual film festival will include showings at 7 p.m. each of those evenings in the Ballston Spa High School auditorium, and 9 p.m. outdoor showings at Wiswall Park on Front Street. Hundreds of people are expected to attend the juried festival, which also highlights films by local filmmakers or with local connections....
