Nephew swims to shore; search of Mohawk to resume

The search continues today for a Gloversville man whose boat capsized in the Mohawk River near Lock 13 Saturday afternoon. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened after Rafael Montalvo, 47, of Gloversville was fishing with his 16-year-old nephew Jose Carlos Satin, of Galway. When Montalvo and Satin got close to the lock, their aluminum fishing boat took on water and capsized, according to reports. Satin was able to make it to shore ...
