Farmers oppose agency’s move from Ballston Spa

About 150 farmers turned out Tuesday to object to plans to close the county Farm Service Agency office in Ballston Spa and move its functions to Washington County.

The owners of the Blue Ribbon Diner in Schenectady want to renovate and reopen The Old Homestead Restaurant in Burnt Hills, according to plans filed with the Ballston Planning Board.
