About 400 elementary- and middle-school students taking part in the Shenendehowa Inventors program will display their inventions at the former Cotton Market store at Clifton Park Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
It was Daniel David Schermerhorn Campbell who built the three houses we now call Campbell Row at 19, 21 and 23 Washington Ave. in the Stockade section of Schenectady. The house at 19 Washington Ave., currently owned by Greg and Barbara Sauer, will be part of the Stockade Walkabout on Sept. 26, and the Sauers suspect that visitors to their home will find the Campbell story as intriguing as they did. And what's that "S" on the front door all about?...
