The Freihofer’s organizers walk a fine line when it comes to assembling their elite field. From a racing standpoint, you love to have the Ethiopians and Kenyans, who make any competition an adventure and a potentially breathtaking spectacle, with their depth of talent and aggressive approach and tactics.
