Brindisi's owners to open restaurant in Saratoga Hilton
SARATOGA SPRINGS The owners of Brindisi's Restaurant will run the new restaurant at the Saratoga Hilton starting Oct. 1.
Chez Sophie, the French restaurant that is currently in the hotel on Broadway, is closing at the end of September because the owners are moving to France to be caretakers at a vineyard.
Louis Brindisi and his son, Andy Brindisi will run the new Union Grille, which is named after the Grand Union Hotel, a huge hotel that was part of Saratoga Springs' heritage as a resort town.
The Union Grille will mix a casual style with high-quality but affordable food, so it will appeal to bar customers and diners, Andy Brindisi said.
