We all love Stewarts but can you tell us why when up in the Adirondacks the gas is so high when there's no competition around, You own your own distribution center for the gas, We just wish you would charge the same to us mountain people as you do the folks in the city's.

The Albany County Correctional Facility for Children's benefit (, highlighted this nicely done article about Stewart's on our web site's home page because we are truly grateful to them for all of their generosity and assistance they have given to our foundation in support of our seriously ill children.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to Gary Dake- President, Susan Law Dake- Head of Stewart's Holiday Match charitable giving program & all of Stewart's customers who donate to the Holiday Match campaign each year!

$1,750 donated to ACCFCB in 2009 & $8,750 total to date donated over 6 years- I know we are just a drop in the bucket compared to the total donations Stewart's makes to charities like ours. We thank you Stewart's, Keep up the great work!!

After reading this feel good article, I felt compelled to chime in- happily!

Stewart's doesn't charge $2.75 for an any ice cream cone. The cone prices are $1.75 for a single and $2.25 for a double, which gives you 8 ounces of ice cream, something most of us probably don't need.

I work for them and am proud to do so.
