Manhattan got a gift in the 1993 MAAC Championship Game win over Niagara as Brian Clifford was called for a phantom foul against Manhattan's Keith Bullock with a few seconds left. At the time, Niagara led by one point. But, the refs and league officials were happy that the top seeded Jaspers made the NCAA Tournament.

Bogus call. Bogus win. End of story.
