Elliot Gordon scored all three goals to give the Scotia-Glenville boys’ soccer team a 3-2 victory over South Glens Falls Friday, pushing the Tartans (10-2) ahead of Gloversville into the Foothills Council lead.
Jeff Rabine’s goal with 13:21 left pulled the Bulldogs into a 2-2 tie, but Gordon scored the game-winner less than five minutes later.
Nate Crow and Nick Hlat assisted on Gordon’s second-half goals. Jeff Hajek had a goal and an assist for the Bulldogs (6-4-2, 10-4-2).
Gloversville (9-2) can regain a share of the lead tonight when the Dragons take on Broadalbin-Perth at 7.
Brandon Neddo scored his first career goal on a restart with 12:44 left in the first half to give Queensbury a 1-0 victory over Glens Falls. The shutout was the third of the week for the Spartans (8-3-1), while the Indians fell to 3-9-0 in the league and 6-10-0 overall.

Joe Naparstek banged in four goals to lead Albany Academy to a 5-0 victory over Ravena-
Coeymans-Selkirk in the Colonial Council. Amadou Gueye scored the other goal for the Cadets (7-3-2,
8-4-1), and Chris Lockwood, Tyler McCarthy, Chris Breiner and Taylor Esper all picked up assists.
Brian Hamor scored twice in the second half to give Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons a 3-1 victory over Amsterdam in a Big 10 game. Mike Carroll had the other goal for the Golden Knights (4-4-3, 6-5-3), Jonathan Aziz had two assists, and Garrett Cherry and Chris Gosh picked up single assists. Steve Adamowski scored off a Phil Miskinis assist for the Rams.
Mike Muthersbaugh scored twice to give Troy a 2-0 victory over Christian Brothers Academy. C.J. Anslow and Brandon Wilson came through with assists, and Zach Scher made six saves to earn his second shutout of the year.
Tamarac remained undefeated with a 3-2 Wasaren League victory over Stillwater. Tyler Shaw scored all three goals for the Bengals
(11-0-1, 13-0-1), while Dane Slocum scored both goals for the Warriors.
St. Johnsville turned back Fonda-Fultonville, 2-1, in the Western Athletic Conference. Eric Hart scored the game-winning goal for the Saints, and Scott Jaikin finished with a goal and an assist.
Micah Reamer scored off an assist from R.J. Gallup four minutes into overtime to give Schenectady Christian a 1-0 WAC victory over Sharon Springs.

Panthers pull upset
Samantha Hart and Evitza Nikollaj each scored two goals as Mayfield upset Western Athletic Conference North contender Fort Plain, 4-3, in overtime.
Olivia Miller and Rachel Bornt each picked up assists as the Panthers improved to 5-6-2 in the league.
Kelsey Logan had a goal and an assist, and Kaitlyn Trembley and Ashley Crouse also scored for the Hilltoppers, who suffered just their second league loss in 13 outings.
Hillary Habla scored all three goals as Fonda-Fultonville outlasted St. Johnsville, 3-2, in another WAC game. Habla scored the game-winner with 42 seconds left, poking in a corner kick. Meghan Beaulieu scored both goals for the Saints (2-12).
Lauren McGarry came through with a goal and an assist to lead Duanesburg to a 2-0 victory over Sharon Springs, Alyson Sanders also scored, Sara Cooper had an assist and Beth Smith came up with 16 saves for the Eagles.
Marion Bates and Victoria McCormick provided goals to back Meghan Bassler’s eight-save effort in goal as Berne-Knox-Westerlo held off Schoharie, 2-1. Beth Cleveland scored for Schoharie.
Bethlehem took another step
toward an undefeated regular season, as Kaitlyn Martin and Megan Olsen each scored goals as the Eagles blanked Saratoga Springs, 2-0.
Anna Gray picked up assist, and Kiersten Swete made four saves as the Eagles improved to 14-0-0 in the Suburban Council and 16-0-0 overall.
Guilderland did all of its scoring in the first half as the Lady Dutch defeated Shaker, 3-2. Danielle
Tetreault had a goal and two assists for the Lady Dutch (6-7-1,
8-7-1), and Micheala Maybe and Jenna Crupi also scored goals. The Blue Bison (5-8, 7-8) were led by Lauren Crunden and Caitlin Calahan, who each had a goal.

Mohonasen, 7-1. Lauren Andi,

Grace Collett scored the game-winning goal off an assist from Alysa Chartrand in the second overtime to give Watervliet a 1-0 victory over Cobleskill-Richmondville in the Colonial Council. Chartand and Kaitlin LaBarge split time in goal, combining for 12 saves.

Mechanicville ran its Colonial Council record to 9-2 with a 3-1 victory over Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk. Ashley Wilson scored for Ravena.
Sarah Agan and Kierra Moore each had a goal as Holy Names blanked Lansingburgh, 2-0. Rayann Gelata and Tess Massaroni picked up assists for Holy Names (10-1-1, 12-1-1) and Casey Spicer made four saves. The loss dropped the Knights to 6-5-1 in the league and 7-5-1 overall.
