Political rhetoric at it's finest from a career politician who:
1. Appeases constituency only when answers are/were readily found, never poked deep into the challenging issues facing his District as the 105th Assemblyman (unless you consider vocalizing against a pit to bury building debris an accomplishment)..."Super-staffer syndrome".
2. Steered away from controlling gasoline/oil prices at the pump within the 105th as it's Assemblyman (06'-'07).
3. Cloaked the fact that he received campaign contribution from the same special interest/big energy that he promised us to help keep in check as "boss" of NYSERRA.
4. Appropriated 11 MILLION dollars---your taxpaying dollars--to be spent on the "Bridge to Nowhere--Phase 2" across the Mohawk River into an abandoned mill section of Amsterdam, New York.
5. Never really was challenged with the "Hatch Act" granting him the authority to even be ABLE to run for the Congressional seat while serving as an employee of the State of New York--during a partisan election. Wouldn't he still have oversight as to how money/finance is delegated into his District as Congressman?
Now that's the style of person I want serving me in Washington!!! So, here we go again with another 4 years of the Pied Piper concept of government. People making other persons BELIEVE that they are progressing and doing things to make life easier for us, but in essence, they themselves become institutionalized in the process. Republicans, you're going to need someone carrying a bit more clout next time out.
