New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin addresses the media this morning to open the team's annual training camp at the University at Albany.
ALBANY The New York Giants aren't getting much respect as defending Super Bowl champions.
At the annual media day Wednesday, most of the reporters' questions focused on the loss of tight end Jeremy Shockey to the New Orleans Saints and Michael Strahan to retirement.
But head coach Tom Coughlin was adament that his team still has plenty of talent and won't be complacent as world champions. Training camp starts for real Friday at 8:40 a.m. There is also another practice session Friday afternoon.
