Illegal Cuban immigrant charged with selling heroin

An illegal immigrant from Cuba has been charged with selling heroin. Albany County Sheriff's deputies said Lazaro Casanova, 53, of 36 Morton Ave., was arrested after undercover investigators were able to purchase heroin from him on several occasions following surveillance that indicated pedestrian traffic consistent with drug dealing. Investigators executed a search warrant on Casanova's home Tuesday and seized 198 glassine bags of heroin marked "True Religion" - with a street value of about $5,000 ...
